Stormy Daniels doesn't claim to be the adult screen's first goddess of carnal desire, but she would be right in claiming to be the most driven. She graduated from Scotlandville Magnet High School in Baton Rouge in 1997. She wrote for the school's newspaper, writing being something she continues to do today, for magazines (FHM) and writing screenplays for adult films.
Stormy began feature dancing on the road in September of 2000. As a dancer, she was a two-time runner up in the Miss Nude North America pageant, and she was the 2001 and 2002 Gold Medallist at the Gold G-String Awards. In May of 2002 she decided to pursue her Adult Film Career in Los Angeles. In September of the same year she signed an exclusive contract with Wicked Pictures. She also appeared briefly in the 2005 film The 40-Year-Old Virgin.
She has appeared in several popular men's magazines, e.g., FHM, High Society, and Private Dancer, as well as posing for website pictorials. In 2004 she won the coveted Best New Starlet Award from Adult Video News. She was also nominated for Best New Starlet in 2003 by XRCO.
She married fellow porn actor Pat Myne in 2004. In early 2007 she appeared in Dirt on the FX Network, where she played a stripper who sets up a basketball player Rick Fox.
In addition to her adult video projects, Stormy has appeared on several Playboy TV shows, including Playboy's Night Calls, Playboy's Sexcetera, and the second season of Playboy's 7 Lives Xposed. She also appeared in the "Let It All Hang Out" episode of HBO's Real Sex, and in Fox's upcoming sex comedy "The Girl Next Door".
Stormy continues to reinvent herself in new and exciting ways. She is the monthly sex advisor for FHM Mexico and hosts events for the World Party all over the globe.

What is your real name?
If I told you that, then having a stage name would be pointless-huh? If it makes you feel any better, all of my friends and family call me "Stormy". I only use my legal name for official reasons like banking and taxes.
How did you get the name Stormy?
There are actually a few reasons why I picked the name. One is that while still in high school, I decided that I didn't like my real name and that I wanted to have a cool nickname. I found out that my father had considered naming me "Stormy" but that my mom's wish to name me after her deceased brother won out. Another reason is that because I am such a huge Motley Crue fan, I wanted my cool new nickname to have some connection to the band. I did not like any of their names, but the bassist Nikki Sixx has a son named Storm. Perfect. Besides, Stormy just kind of fits.
