Alexis Amore a.k.a (Alexis Lamore, Alexis Amour)

Her legal name (birth name) is Fabiola Melgar. Born in Peru, Alexis Amore's family moved to the U.S. when she was nine and settled in Redondo Beach, California. She attended a Christian high school in Hermosa Beach and she was a cheerleader.
When she was in high school she got a job modeling in advertisements for a local department store. One day she went for an audition for a modeling job and the agent suggested she try modeling for Playboy. She took his advice and was soon hired as a model on Playboy TV.

She had a breast augmentation prior to beginning her pornographic career. In the course of her work she met several adult-film stars, one thing led to another and in 1999 she made her debut in the adult-film industry.
As of early 2006, Amore infrequently writes for AVN Insider and has a new sex toys contract with California Exotic Novelties. For some reason another good friend of hers Olivia O'Lovely refers to her as "Wifey".
